repurposed sketchbooks

I saw the greatest thing at a local craft fair, Craft Lake City, last month!  A vendor couple (who I unfortunately cannot remember their names and I don't believe they sell regularly or online) was selling these repurposed notebooks.  They found vintage books at libraries, thrift stores, or garage sales.  Then they rebound them with white paper, leaving a few remaining pages.  I think the only way to prove my love is to admit that I bought 7.  It all happened so fast, I don't know what to say.  I wonder if Nancy Drew will mind that her book has been turned into my notebook... and then I wonder if my sketches will become very spooky?  (Insert ghostly oooh!).

>> I just got back from Luncheon-ing with the lovely Lizzy behind The Luncheon Project!  I think this is such an amazing blog and I feel lucky to be apart of it.  More news TBA about that ASAP, HAGS!

  5. We made those for classes in art ed! I loved mine, but they were never as cool as some of the others. And I'm glad you bought seven, crazy pants.

  6. I bought one last year at Craft Lake City when I was there as a vendor. It's called "How to Win at Wrestling." The guy was like, is that suggestive? I said, not really. I just want to win at wrestling.
