90's tee refashion

Refashioning gently loved items is fun and it can be feel very rewarding.  It gives clothes a second chance, it saves you a pretty penny, and it can create instant happiness.  For example, look at me before I refashioned my shirt (top left photo).  Pretty dismal, right?  But as soon as I refashioned my tee I had a revised energy level, I felt an instant newness to my aura, a sudden desire to do good, and I lost that groggy 2 o'clock feeling (which I think I should mention is trademarked by 5 hour energy).  I'll show you how you can achieve this same exhilarating feeling without breaking the bank!

First you'll wear your oversized, poorly manufactured shirt inside out and loosely pin in loose measurements.  As you encounter the armpit problem area just continue pinning in a straight line and then when you get to the sleeve seam you can turn and pin down the sleeve.  Once you get loose measurements take your shirt off and refine your pinning measurements.  So yes, I did take this photo in my underwear, is that what you wanted to know?  Wish granted.

Now all of the people out there who actually know how to sew will say "don't do this!" and you should probably listen to them because I don't know what the heck I'm doing!  But if you want to stick with me sink or swim or sew, then you can try what I tried.  Sewing in the pits and the arms created a three quarter length sleeve and the original shoulder seam just sits below my should rather than above.  It is so wrong but it just feels so right.

I decided to shower for these photos.  You're welcome for that - and thank you in advance for the modeling compliments.  I know I've got a future in this business.  If you try it out, link up or instagram me photos.  I want to see your modeling skills too.
