Yesterday was the first day of recording!! Hum was teasing me because I woke up a little early and picked out my favorite of his jeans for him to wear and grabbed a few tee shirts for him to pick from. We both had that giddy first day of school feeling, except in his words, "thank goodness I don't have to go to 'school' until noon". (Then again... he doesn't get home until midnight.) As he tied up his boots I couldn't help but sing the Billy Madison song in my head, "back to school... back to school... I hope I don't act like a fool. I got my boots tied tight, my back pack packed, I hope I don't get in a fight...".
Apparently day one already went great and I can't wait to hear this whole album come to life! Here's to another great day of recording and making music. I sure do like my cute guitarist.
