I'm leaving town for most of this week and some of the next, so I'm going to share some fun new art projects I've been working on while I'm away. I know, don't miss me too much...
Let's start today, right here, right now, with some recent doodles...
I like these. I'm trying to figure out what to do with them... hmm.
I'm spending the week in the lovely Utah wilderness with a bunch of teenage girls. I get the opportunity to be an advisor to these cute girls every Sunday when we go to church together and we also do activities throughout the week. Can you believe their parents trust me enough to "advise" them? (enter sinister laugh... muah ah ah ah) I'm looking forward to some girl style camping (good food, cabins, hot showers... it's kind of ridiculously awesome), funny skits, campfire songs, and hiking. I think I'll take my markers, sketchbook, and have a real nice time.
>> I apologized to Albus for that post I wrote about him yesterday. We made up and we're on good terms now. I'll miss him and my very handsome husband while I'm away.
>> Thanks to everyone who leaves nice comments here and there, I like you, a lot.
>> When I get back from the wilderness I'm going to waltz straight into the studio to hear how the album is going! Woot woot!

i love girls camp! i go next week :)
ReplyDeleteyour doodle with the three ladies is really awesome.
I love the one of the three girls...it is my secret wish to have a big beautiful afro hair...sadly mine is stick straight and no amount of scrunching or curling irons will change it. Beautiful sketches!
ReplyDeleteLovely.
ReplyDeleteQuestion. What kind of markers do you use? I love how watery they are. Also, you totally inspire me to learn how to draw some good anatomy...I love that first lovely lady in the apricot.
use them at blowncovers.com for this week's contest -- fashion. fran. will love your work. smiles!!
