First, I made something new for Hum and it shall be called the shvest. I took a too-large creamsicle colored western shirt from the thrift store, sized it to fit, and made a vest out of it. It was a really fun project!
Second, Hum wears striped socks every day. I'd like to think this is a metaphor for how he lives his life... wild, colorful, and never a dull moment (which is true!). I have a hard time finding striped socks, but Trucker Deluxe has an amazing selection! (want a trucker deluxe discount? read below...)
Third, I sewed on knee patches to Hum's jeans. He always wears a hold in the knee of a perfectly good pair of pants. I'm loving the denim on denim patch.
Fourth, I bought that denim-y shirt at Ross last fall, but it never fit quite right. It was too flow-y at the bottom and the sleeves were too tight. So I trimmed it up to fit better and feel a little more spring-y too.
Fifth, those lacey peach shoes that I'm so crazy about? They're blowfish shoes.
