Life has been kind of busy lately!  I haven't mentioned yet that Jacob's wedding was amazing and Audrey's dress was incredible.  That tiny instagram up top just doesn't do it justice, I'll have to find a better photo for you sometime.  Now that Jacob sealed the deal, all of the members of Fictionist are married (sorry single ladies) and to very amazing women I might add too.  Sometimes I like to refer to the married women as the "Fictionistas" and I feel lucky to have them in my life.  Someday, if these boys get really famous, you can remember that it's probably because they married such cool girls :).

It's been crazy weather here in Utah.  Cold and snowy one day, warm and sixty degrees the next.  Whenever we have a good snow storm I take Albus to a park close by and let him act like a maniac for a half hour or so, it's very entertaining for the both of us and then he sleeps (yes!) the rest of the day.

Remember when you were a kid and you drew faces on your hands?  Well, apparently that inner kid is still inside of me and the two of us got a little carried away the other day.  Isn't she beautiful?  I named her Bev.

Did you know you can stream a fireplace on netflix?  True story.  It's called "Fireplace for Your Home" and it has, not one, but two episodes of a crackling fireplace!  We went on a fun double date last week, and thanks to that unpredictable Utah weather I mentioned earlier, it was too cold to make s'mores outside like we planned.  Back up plan?  We made s'more milkshakes (chocolate ice cream + marshmallow fluff + milk + whipping cream and some gram crackers on top = drool drool drool drool...) and talked around the crackling fireplace on our TV.  I highly recommend it.

I've been sitting at the bottom of the creative hump lately.  But don't feel too bad for me cause we all know there's no where to go but up, and that gives me a warm and fuzzy inside.  I've been sketching, researching, thinking, we'll see what happens next.

Lastly - Albus, my new shoes, and I are in training for my first half marathon!  My mom is a great runner and she runs multiple marathons each year.  I've always looked at her and thought I could (would?) never do that, but alas, here I am... giving in to the dark side.  Last weekend I drove with my brother to meet up with my parents who live about an hour away.  My brother and my mom buddied up (the faster ones) and my dad and I buddied up (the not as fast ones) and we went for a long run together.  My mom can really outrun me, my dad can barely outrun me, and I'm just hoping to finish this race!  But I am excited to have a reason to kick my booty into shape this year!

PS. You gotta stop by facebook and see the fantastic fotoshop phriday Reese Clark emailed me last friday.  Hint: Angelina Jolie.  So much awesomeness.

3 good vibes:
