Remember the creative process I talked about?
I think I have been stuck in the bottom of the creative process hump for a while now. Partly by choice, mostly because we have been to busy CD making, holiday-ing, and moving. Blah blah blah - lame excuses, I know. However, it has been a rewarding period of time for me. I always put so much emphasis and merit on doing, but sometimes I forget to put enough emphasis on not-doing. Being down doesn't mean that you are lazy, it means that you are preparing yourself to go up.
While I was down (in a good way) I was trying to give myself a brutal and honest critique of my art. I reflected on ways I want to improve and new things I would like to try. This is an in-progress image of one of my first painting post the most recent "I suck" stage, but I hope that it leads me down a pathway I can feel even more proud of.
To be continued... dun dun dun!
